Herman Stokes
Herman Stokes ( Herman Ray Stokes; born October 16, 1932 in Houston , Texas , † January 25, 1998 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American triple jumper .
In 1959 he won silver at the Pan American Games in Chicago .
At the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome, he was eliminated in qualifying, and at the 1963 Pan American Games in São Paulo, he was fourth.
He set his personal best of 15.90 m in 1971.
