Hermann's Orgie was a punk band from Hamburg , which was founded in 1977 by Clement Hülse, Tom Meyer and Frank Peterson. The single Modern Music (1979) and the album The Modern World and Other Disharmonies (1980) were released on Hamburg’s own label Moderne Musik Tonträger .

The title Modern Music was published again as a cover version on the Disko B label by the Stereo Total group on their 2007 album Paris-Berlin .

In 2016, the Wallpaper Records label released the song Hamburg from the album The Modern World and Other Disharmonies on the sampler Wrong Place Wrong Time .
