Hermann Barnefske

Hermann Barnefske (born April 11, 1908 in Habinghorst ; † September 7, 1993 ) was a German politician ( SPD ). He was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

After elementary school, Barnefske attended a vocational school, where he took several courses and then completed a commercial apprenticeship. Then he worked in the profession he had learned. From 1927 he was a member of the General German Trade Union Federation and the Reich Banner . In 1928 he joined the SPD, for which he was also elected to the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia after the Second World War . He belonged to this for a total of five terms from April 20, 1947 to July 23, 1966, he was always elected through a direct mandate in the constituency 105 Castrop-Rauxel. In addition, from 1946 he was a council member of the city of Castrop-Rauxel, from 1955 to 1961 first chairman of the city association Castrop-Rauxel of the SPD and a member of the public services, transport and traffic union .

From 1942 to 1945 he was in the German Wehrmacht and was taken prisoner at the end of the war.
