Hermann Durst

Hermann Durst (born May 21, 1905 in Murg , † April 26, 1957 in Säckingen ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

After attending the vocational training school, Durst took part in a course at the State College for Business and Administration in Düsseldorf. In 1933 he was dismissed from the service of the Christian trade unions and was jobless for four years. During the Second World War he was a soldier for five years. Durst worked professionally as an employee. After the Second World War he joined the CDU, for which he was a member of the Baden state parliament from 1947 to 1952 . In parliament he mainly dealt with social policy.
