Hermann Emil Fischer (politician)

Hermann Emil Fischer (born July 26, 1819 in Hamburg ; † October 20, 1907 there ) was a Hamburg lawyer and member of parliament.

Life

Fischer received his doctorate on October 16, 1846 in Heidelberg and enrolled as a lawyer in Hamburg on May 3, 1847. In 1879 he decided not to join the legal profession during the legal reorganization.

Fischer had been elected to the Hamburg Constituent Assembly, but there he refused to take the oath required by the members and was therefore dismissed from the Constituent Assembly. From 1860 to 1865 Fischer was a member of the Hamburg parliament .
