Hermann Freiländer (life dates unknown) was a German football player .
Career

Freiländer belonged to the VfR Mannheim as a defender , for whom he played in the championships organized by the South German Football Association from 1924 to 1927 in the Rhine regional league . During his club membership he won the district championship twice and the South German championship once. Due to the success, he and his team also took part in the final round of the German Championship and played his only final game on May 3, 1925 in Weidenpescher Park in Cologne in front of 12,000 spectators, which was lost 4-1 at TuRU Düsseldorf in the round of 16 .
Selection team
As a player in the selection team of the South German Football Association , he took part in the competition for the national cup and reached the final on February 22, 1925 in the Hoheluft Stadium in Hamburg , which was lost 2-1 to the selection team of the North German Football Association .
