Hermann Grauerholz

Hermann Grauerholz (born March 9, 1897 in Schiffdorf ; † February 4, 1991 in Bremerhaven ) was a German music teacher and gymnast . He is considered the nestor of the German dance game movement.

He was a trained gymnastics and sports teacher. From 1929 he began to design lyrical, romantic and dramatic dance games that were performed at gymnastics festivals and other events.

Grauerholz has written several sports books and has received the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class.
