Hermann Gustav Bayer

Hermann Gustav Bayer (born March 24, 1876 in Kirchheim unter Teck , † June 27, 1928 in Berlin-Charlottenburg ) was a German politician.

Hermann Gustav Bayer attended grammar school in Reutlingen . After graduating from high school, he studied political science in Tübingen , Berlin and Göttingen . From 1901 he was the editor of left-wing liberal newspapers and in 1909 managing director of the Württemberg Hanseatic League. In 1912 he became in-house counsel for the Association of Württemberg Industrialists in Stuttgart, and in 1923 in-house counsel for the Association of German Hosiery in Berlin.

In accordance with his left-liberal sentiments, Bayer was initially a member of the Progressive People's Party , with which he joined the German Democratic Party (DDP) in 1918 . From 1920 to 1922 he was a member of the board of directors of the DDP at the Reich level. From 1919 to 1920 Bayer was a member of the Württemberg state constituent assembly . In 1920 he no longer ran for the state parliament.

family

Hermann Gustav Bayer was the son of site manager Josef Gottlieb Bayer (1832–1907) and Emma Friederike Bayer nee. Frank (1838–1907) and had ten siblings. In 1897 he married Frieda Maria Raisch, with whom he had two children.
