Hermann Jansen (Vicar General)
Hermann Jansen (born July 27, 1904 in Aachen , † after 1969 in Cologne ) was Vicar General of the Archbishop of Cologne .
Life
Hermann Jansen was born in the Burtscheid district of Aachen. The August 6, 1928 priests consecrated Jansen was appointed on November 9, 1931 vicar appointed in Cologne. Since April 1, 1953, director of the Finance Chamber in the Vicariate General , he was appointed to the Cologne Cathedral Chapter on December 19, 1953 . The Archbishop of Cologne, Cardinal Joseph Frings , appointed him second vicar general on March 1, 1963.
Honors
Pope John XXIII awarded him the title of Apostolic Protonotary on November 30, 1962 .
