Hermann Jaques

Hermann Jaques (* 1874 ; † in the 20th century ) was a German writer and lawyer .

Life

After attending school, Jaques studied law at Heidelberg University and became a member of Corps Vandalia Heidelberg in 1896 . He received his doctorate as Dr. jur. and then worked as a lawyer. He made his writing debut in 1914 with Paris , which was followed by the books Der neue Werther (1915) and the autobiography Memoirs of a Civilian 1914–1916 (1916).

In addition, he was the founder and head of the casino in Merano , where he also dealt with game variations for figure play and third chances taking into account the theory of permutations . He published the experience he gained in the books The Achilles heel of the roulette banks (1927) and Exchange protection (1928).
