Hermann Karl Schenck zu Schweinsberg

Hermann Karl Maximilian Ferdinand Reinhold Schenck zu Schweinsberg (born April 17, 1900 in Gießen ; † 1974 ) was a German lawyer .

Life

He studied law at the Ludwigs-Universität in Gießen, received his doctorate there in 1927 with a thesis “On the legal meaning of the aristocratic symbols”, and in spring 1927 joined the Hessian civil service as a court assessor. On November 7, 1932, he became a public prosecutor at the district court of Gießen and on January 29, 1934, a public prosecutor at the Darmstadt district court . On May 1, 1937, he joined the NSDAP . From 1938 he also acted several times as a representative of the prosecution in high treason proceedings before the People's Court . From March 1, 1939 and until the end of the war, he was then senior judge in Darmstadt .

After the war and denazification , he was hired again as a public prosecutor in Darmstadt on November 1, 1950.
