Hermann Kirchhoff (religious educator)

Hermann Kirchhoff (born April 11, 1926 in Herbede ; † April 30, 2012 in Nieheim ) was a German Catholic clergyman and religious educator .

Kirchhoff studied in Paderborn and Munich Catholic theology and received on April 4, 1954 at Paderborn Cathedral, the ordination . From 1956 to 1961 he was the spiritual director of the Die Hegge educational institute in Warburg-Höxter. In 1968 he was a lecturer at the later in the RWTH Aachen being incorporated PH Aachen , where he taught as a professor of religious education to the 1988th

After his retirement he became a pastor in Grafenwöhr . He is best known as a researcher into Christian customs.
