Hermann Laschewski

Hermann Laschewski (born December 28, 1885 in Oliva ; † cannot be determined) was a German politician ( USPD / KPD ). He was a member of the People's Day of the Free City of Danzig .

Life

Laschewski, son of a dock worker, attended elementary school and learned the trade of bricklayer and plasterer . He then worked in the profession. Between 1914 and 1918 he took part in the First World War. In 1919 he joined the Independent Social Democratic Party of Germany (USPD) and switched to the Communist Party of Germany (KPD) in January 1921. From 1920 to 1927 was a member of the Danzig People's Day. In 1921 he became a community representative in Oliva. From 1924 to 1927 he served as political director of the KPD district of Danzig. After Oliwa was incorporated into Danzig, he was a member of the Danzig city citizenship from 1927. In 1930 Laschewski was expelled from the KPD. From 1932 to 1942 he worked as an independent contractor in Danzig-Oliva.
