Hermann Logsch

Wilhelm Hermann Logsch (born February 15, 1909 , † July 9, 2007 ) was a German telecommunications engineer, Colonel a. D. of the Bundeswehr, co-founder of the telecommunications school and technical college of the army for electrical engineering in Feldafing and author of various textbooks on telecommunications .

Logsch was also awarded the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class, and published various scientific publications on philately (specializing in the Baltic States). He was the owner of various basic patents, including the basis of the compact cassette .
