Hermann newcomer
Hermann Neuling (born July 17, 1897 , † January 29, 1967 ) was a German horn player and composer.
The newcomer worked for a long time as a low horn player at the State Opera Unter den Linden in Berlin , where he taught at the city conservatory.
Well-known pieces composed by him are, for example, the Bagatelle for low horn and piano as well as Etudes for low horn , which were published in two volumes of 30 etudes each . In addition to the horn concertos by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Richard Strauss , the bagatelle is a compulsory piece for orchestral auditions.
