Hermann Schubert (economist)

Hermann Schubert (born July 10, 1964 in Munich ) is a German economist and economic historian.

Career

Schubert studied economics at the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich (LMU) from 1988 to 1994 and, after completing a two-year doctoral degree at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris, obtained his doctorate at the economics faculty of the LMU in 2008. oec. publ. He has held a professorship for economics since 2011 and at the International School of Management in Stuttgart since 2016 . Hermann Schubert's research focuses on capital market-oriented macroeconomics , income and wealth distribution, and economic history .
