Hermann Selbherr
Hermann Selbherr (born August 16, 1934 ), resident in Wangen im Allgäu , is a former DFB game committee chairman and game manager of the DFB club cup .
Selbherr is known to the general public in particular as the head of the DFB Cup draws, which he has monitored since 1992. He is also honorary president of FC Wangen 05 . With his help, Togo was able to move into quarters for the 2006 World Cup in Wangen - as a DFB Africa representative, Selbherr was able to establish contacts in Africa seven years earlier.
From 1987 to 1997 the former teacher was headmaster of the Sophie-Scholl-Schule in Leutkirch .
In 2007, Hermann Selbherr retired from the DFB. The draw for the DFB Cup semi-finals in 2006/07 was the last that took place under his responsibility. Selbherr has been awarded the DFB's Golden Badge of Honor.
Since 1956 Selbherr has been a member of the Catholic student association AV Guestfalia Tübingen .
On February 1, 2017, he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon .
