Hermann Sinnhuber

Hermann Sinnhuber (born February 20, 1878 in Wilkoschen , Gumbinnen district ; † August 21, 1961 in Bad Honnef ) was a German engineer, manager of the German electrical industry and pioneer of wireless telegraphy .

Life

Hermann Sinnhuber studied engineering. At the Technical University of Dresden he became a member of the Corps Albingia in 1897 . After completing his studies, he began practical work in the laboratory of the AEG cable factory. As an employee of Georg Graf von Arco , he became a pioneer of wireless telegraphy. He became head of the laboratory and in 1903 authorized signatory of Telefunken, which was founded by AEG and Siemens. In 1907 he was appointed chief engineer in the "Central" department of Siemens-Schuckertwerke. In 1920 he received power of attorney. In 1924 he was appointed director of the Siemens cable factory. At the end of 1927 he was appointed General Director of Norddeutsche Kabelwerke AG in Berlin-Neukölln, which belongs to the Siemens group. After 1933 he resigned from his management duties and lived on his estate in Zülshagen in the Dramburg district in Pomerania. After being expelled from Pomerania, he lived in Pinneberg.

His son-in-law was Major General of the Bundeswehr Rudolf Jenett .
