Hermann Volz (painter)
Hermann Volz (born August 26, 1814 in Biberach an der Riss ; † November 2, 1894 there ) was a German portrait and genre painter.
The son of the chief bailiff Johann Christian Ludwig Volz was a pupil of the Biberach painter Johann Baptist Pflug . He studied from April 21, 1841 to 1846 at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich . He then worked in Munich, Nuremberg and Augsburg.
