Hermann von Höxter
Hermann von Höxter also de Huxaria or Uxsaria (* around 1370, presumably in Westheim ( Prince Diocese of Paderborn ); † April 20, 1396 ) was a professor of medicine .
He was the first regens doctor of the medical faculty of the University of Heidelberg, founded in 1386 . Around 1393 he became a professor of medicine. In 1394 the rector and a group of professors, including Hermann von Höxter, urged the Heidelberg City Council to secure the duty-free import of wine guaranteed in the privileges. The professors at Heidelberg University were paid with wine . His medical colleagues were Eastern Churches and Jacobus von Hermenia, Hermann's successor was Wilhelm Tenstal von Deventer.
