Hermann von Lengerke (* 1607 in Lübeck ; † December 26, 1668 there ) was a councilor from Lübeck.

Life

Hermann von Lengerke was the son of Lübeck councilor Georg von Lengerke and his wife Dorothea, née von Elsewich , and the grandson of Kiel mayor Ameling von Lengerke. In 1650 Lengerke was a senior man of the Lübeck skipper drivers . He was elected to the council of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck in 1654. Together with councilor Heinrich Kerkring , he was Lübeck's ambassador in 1659, representing shipping interests at the court of Copenhagen in Denmark. Together with the mayor Matthäus Rodde he was head of the Marienkirche in Lübeck ; both stand as church councils in the inscription of 1669 fromAlbert Benningk's newly cast pulse bell of the church, which was destroyed in the air raid on Lübeck in 1942 and the remains of which are now a memorial.

On December 18, 1634 he married Elisabeth Schledebusch in Lübeck. Children were born from this marriage.
