Hermann zu Dohna-Finckenstein

Hermann Werner Rodrigo Heinrich Friedrich Donatus Burgrave and Count zu Dohna-Finckenstein (born October 10, 1894 in Allenstein ; † December 13, 1942 at Finckenstein Castle , Rosenberg district in West Prussia ) was a German manor owner and politician ( NSDAP ).

Hermann zu Dohna-Finckenstein was a lieutenant in the reserve in Dragoon Regiment No. 2. He was the landowner on Finckenstein-Brunau and manager of the Finckenstein estate and the estates of Groß-Liebenau and Brunau.

After the National Socialists came to power , he joined the NSDAP (membership number 808.228) and SS (membership number 102.880). On March 10, 1934 he became SS-Sturmführer. On April 20, 1935 he was promoted to SS-Obersturmführer, on June 16, 1935 to SS-Hauptsturmführer and on September 12, 1937 to SS-Sturmbannführer. Most recently he was SS-Obersturmbannführer . At the end of 1933 he was appointed to the Prussian State Council by Hermann Göring , of which he was a member until his death. In 1934 he became the Prussian Provincial Councilor for the Province of East Prussia and head of the private forest department of the Gdansk-West Prussia state farmers.

He was a member of the supervisory board of the Riesenburg sugar factory and a member of the Danzig advisory board of Deutsche Bank.
