The Herrgottsbergbach rises on the southwest edge of the Herrgottsberg . Immediately behind the source, the stream crosses the Goetheteich . Then it flows in a northerly direction through the forest area at the police headquarters in South Hesse and crosses under Klappacher Straße. The Herrgottsbergbach flows underground from Klappacher Straße to its confluence with the Bessunger Troutenteich .
Etymology and history
The brook was named after the Herrgottsberg. The Herrgottsbergbach flowed into the Darmstadt sewage system on Klappacher Strasse until 2000.
