Reign of Balzheim
The dominion of Balzheim with its seat at the castle in Balzheim , today a municipality in the Alb-Danube district in Baden-Württemberg , belonged to the Counts of Grüningen-Landau under the sovereignty of Austria . The rule came to the Counts of Kirchberg , who sold them to Walter Ehinger in 1490. The Ehinger von Balzheim went out in 1734.
In 1740 , Franz Gottlieb von Palm (1691–1749) , who came from Esslingen am Neckar and worked as a banker in Vienna , acquired the Balzheim rule.
