The Herweck AG is a German wholesaler of information and communication technology (ICT), based in St. Ingbert .

It employs around 280 people and looks after over 10,000 specialist dealers in Germany.

history

The company was founded in 1985 by Dieter Philippi and Jörg Herweck in Saarbrücken . In 1993 the location was relocated from Saarbrücken to Kirkel and in 2014 the company headquarters moved to Sankt Ingbert / Rohrbach. With ISDN, the company entered service marketing in 1995.

The first in-house exhibition in Kirkel was held in 2003, which has taken place every year at the company's headquarters in St. Ingbert / Rohrbach since then.

From the original business idea, trading in imported answering machines and designer telephones , one of the distributors for telecommunications and information technology in Germany emerged.
Herweck also markets products from the largest network operators in Germany.

Products and services

The product range includes over 20,000 telecommunications and IT products as well as entertainment electronics.

Herweck arranges mobile communications and broadband contracts with specialist retailers. Herweck AG is also a provider of technical training courses and industrial certifications (e.g. Starface, Unify , Agfeo ). Herweck AG also provides marketing and logistics services for specialist retail partners.
