The AGFEO GmbH & Co. KG is a manufacturer of products in the field of telecommunications ( telephone systems to 80 ports ), ISDN , ISDN over IP and DSL . The company is located in the Brackwede district of Bielefeld .
General
Agfeo relies on the support of standard protocols such as CAPI , DECT - GAP , TAPI , TCP / IP , SIP and LDAP . The manufacturer currently supports the Windows , Linux and Mac OS X operating systems .
history
The Agfeo company was founded in Bielefeld in 1947 by Hermann Boelke. The name Agfeo stands for "Apparatebau Gesellschaft für Fernmeldechnik / Precision Mechanics, Electronics and Optics". The first products include Morse training equipment for the British and Belgian armies. With the delivery of counters for recording fees in telephone exchanges , the company quickly developed into one of the main suppliers of the Deutsche Bundespost . The GAZ 65, an installation fee meter without a separate power supply for the FeTAp 611 GebAnz telephone , has been produced well over a million times. Richard Bosse & Co in Berlin is later taken over.
Products
Agfeo produces three series of systems (as of 2016). All AC and AS systems are based on the same kernel . Therefore, since around 1997, all systems can still be programmed with the same software (TK Suite Professional) under the latest operating systems (Windows, Mac and Linux).
- AC series - small systems. The expansion can be recognized from the system designation. 1st digit external ISDN connections, 2nd digit number of analog subscribers, 3rd digit (if available) internal ISDN connections.
- AS series - The expansion can be recognized from the system designation. 1st digit external ISDN connections, 2nd digit number of analog subscribers, 3rd digit internal ISDN connections. Systems with the number 3 in the first position are complete systems. Systems with the number 4 in the first place are modular systems.
- ES series - completely new development, replaces the AC / AS series. The systems are programmed directly via the network using a browser . This means that separate programming software is no longer required. Terminal devices are preferably connected via SIP or ASIP.
- Series 5xx - small systems. The 2nd and 3rd digits indicate the port expansion plan. The number of possible ports has been partially increased through further development.
- 54x series - small systems. Further development (faster processor) of the 51x or 52x.
- Series 6xx - The 2nd and 3rd digits indicate the planned expansion of ports. The number of possible ports has been partially increased through further development.
- Series 7xx - Modular series, the 2nd digit indicates the number of slots.
- ES Pure-IP 20 IT - communication system that only supports IP communication.
Smart home
Agfeo supports Smart Home with its systems .
- AS series - the AS 181 EIB system and the modular systems with the EIB 522 module can communicate with electrical installations using the EIB / KNX protocol .
- ES series - all systems support the protocols EIB / KNX, Enocean and HomeMatic .
