Herwig Ofner

Herwig Ofner (born June 4, 1983 in Klagenfurt ) is an Austrian actor.

Life

Ofner attended the Stiftsgymnasium St. Paul , Carinthia, then the drama course at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and was already engaged at the Schauspielhaus Graz during his studies . After graduating in 2008, Ofner worked mainly as a theater actor. Engagements followed on u. a. City Theater Klagenfurt , Theater am Ortweinplatz , Theater Offensive Salzburg , TAG Vienna , Schauspielhaus Salzburg . He worked u. a. with Matthias Fontheim , Henry Mason , Simon Windisch, Alex Linse and Josef Maria Krasanovsky.

Ofner made his screen debut in 2008 in the lead role in the short film Take Off. In 2015 he can be seen in the Austrian horror film Grindlwald . Ofner most recently worked as a television actor (Tatort 2017, Soko Vienna 2019), advertising spokesman and speech coach.
