The Church of the Heart of Jesus is the Catholic Church in Reinbek , Stormarn District , Schleswig-Holstein . It is located at Niels-Stensen-Weg 3 in a central location on a hill above Hamburger Straße.

The Catholic parish of Reinbek was founded in 1908, but initially did not have its own premises. Initial planning began in 1932 and the property was purchased. However, the church with its oval floor plan was not built until 1953 according to designs by the architects Puls & Richter (Hamburg) and is designed for up to 350 people. The construction time was 6 months and the consecration was carried out by the auxiliary bishop of Osnabrück Johannes von Rudloff . A first parish hall was built in 1955 and was replaced by a larger new building in 1984. The church belongs to the parish Heilige Elisabeth in the pastoral area Bille-Elbe-Sachsenwald. 9% of the population in Reinbek are Catholic. The church maintains a kindergarten for up to 50 children and a senior citizens' residence on the site. The church building was renovated by 2020 for 100,000 euros. The association raised 25% of the sum.
