Herz an Herz is a love song by the German band Paso Doble from 1985, which is attributed to the Neue Deutsche Welle . The music comes from Frank Hieber ; the text by Ulf Krüger .
Publication and reception
The song was released as a single in 1985 from the second album entitled Fantasy . It reached number 64 in the German single charts and was placed for four weeks. Paso Doble appeared with the song on December 18, 1985 in the ZDF hit parade , but could not reach number one, which was necessary for another appearance at that time.
In 1995 the song was re-released in a Eurodance version by the German singer Jasmin Wagner under the pseudonym Blümchen . It reached number four in the German single charts (18 chart weeks). The single from Blümchen also achieved top ten placements in Switzerland (seventh place) and Austria (ninth place). In 2020 Heart to Heart was covered by DJ Phil the Beat and released as the English version Heart to Heart together with singer Emma Rosen. Jasmin Wagner, who sang heart to heart in 1995 , starred in the music video that was released on YouTube on June 26, 2020 .
