The Herzeberg is a striking elevation in the northern corridor of Möhra in the Wartburg district and belongs to the northern edge of the moorland .

The mountain, which is still partly used for agriculture, borders a nature reserve in the east, while the Lietebaum on the hilltop is a natural monument and a landmark of Moorgrund.
