The Hessian Film and Media Academy (hFMA) is a network of the film and media departments of the Hessian universities . It is based at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach am Main .

History and activities

The Hessian Film and Media Academy was founded in October 2007. 13 Hessian universities and colleges, which have come together under this name and on the initiative of the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art , want to achieve an increase in quality in the area of ​​teaching, research and production, as well as a better connection with the regional and national film and media industry .

The Presidium of the hFMA consists of Bernd Kracke, President of the HfG Offenbach am Main, Vinzenz Hediger from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt and Rüdiger Pichler from the RheinMain University. Anja Henningsmeyer is responsible for the management.
