The Hewson Glacier is a 15 miles long glacier in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Alexandra chain, it flows northeast to the Beardmore Glacier , which it reaches north of the Cloudmaker .
It was named after the surveyor and expedition member Ronald William Hewson during a campaign carried out from 1961 to 1962 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition .
