Hidekazu Ōtani ( Japanese 大谷 秀 和 , Ōtani Hidekazu ; born November 6, 1984 in Nagareyama , Chiba Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Hidekazu Ōtani learned to play football in the youth team of Kashiwa Reysol . Here he signed his first professional contract in 2003. The club from Kashiwa , a city in Chiba Prefecture on Honshū , the main island of Japan , played in the country's highest league, the J1 League . In 2006 he had to start the path to the second class with the club. A year later, as a runner-up in the J2, she was promoted again directly. In 2008 he was with Kashiwa in the final of the Emperor's Cup , which they lost 1-0 to Gamba Osaka . At the end of 2009 he had to go back to the second division.
