Hideki Tachibana

Hideki Tachibana ( Japanese 立 花 秀 樹 , Tachibana Hideki ; * around 1975) is a Japanese jazz musician ( alto saxophone ).

Hideki Tachibana worked in the Japanese free jazz scene a. a. in the Shibusa Shirazu Orchestra, with which he also toured in Europe, also in the formation Ten-nen Club (with Masaharu Shoji , Kenichi Matsumoto , Kentaro Suzuki , Shoji Hano , Syusuke Suzuki ). In 2008 he joined a. at the Vilnius Jazz Festival with the saxophone quintet SXQ (with Kenichi Matsumoto, Daisuke Fujiwara , Ryuichi Yoshida , Masaya Kimura ).

In the 2010s he worked a. a. with bassist Daisuke Fuwa in the Duo Maru in the Hiroaki Katayama Quartet ( Unlimited Standard , 2011, with Fumio Itabashi , Yoshio Ikeda , Shōta Koyama ) and in the Quartet AAS (with Yamaguchi Koichi , Kaido Yutaka and Isobe Jun ).
