Hideo Fukushima ( Fukushima Hideo ; * 1953 ) is a Japanese astronomer and asteroid discoverer .

For his work he uses the Mitaka station ( IAU code 388) of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan in Mitaka, west of Tokyo . Together with colleagues, he discovered a total of two asteroids there between 1994 and 1996.

The asteroid (6345) Hideo was named after him.
