Hidetoshi Mitsusada ( Japanese 光 貞 秀 俊 , Mitsusada Hidetoshi ; born December 29, 1970 in Osaka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese racing driver .

Career

Hidetoshi Mitsusada began his career in 1991 in the Japanese Formula 3 championship ; In 1993 he reached fourth place behind Tom Kristensen , Rickard Rydell and Anthony Reid . The move to Formula 3000 followed , which led him into the European Formula 3000 season in 1998 . He achieved further monoposto successes in Formula Nippon when he finished fourth in the 1997 season and in 1999 when he finished third. In 2000 he was a test driver at Benetton , but he did not get involved in Formula 1 .

Matsusada competed in GT and sports car races as early as the 1990s . After the end of his monoposto career, he intensified this activity. He took part in the race of the Japanese GT Championship part and was in 1996 when 24-hour race at Le Mans reported. He achieved his best position of the season in the Super GT with fifth place overall in 2001.
