Highasakite is a Norwegian indie pop band founded in 2012 . It consists of Ingrid Helene Håvik (vocals), Trond Bersu (drums), Øystein Skar and Marte Eberson (both synthesizers) as well as Kristoffer Lo (guitar, percussion andflugabone).

history

The founders of the band, singer Ingrid Helene Håvik and drummer Trond Bersu, met at the Trondheim Jazz Conservatory and began to work together. Øystein Skar and Marte Eberson as well as Kristoffer Lo joined later. With All That Floats Will Rain , the band released their first album in 2012 on the Riot Factory label , which stayed in the Norwegian charts for three weeks and reached number 16 in the Norwegian album charts as the highest ranking.

In 2014 the album Silent Treatment followed , which was produced by the Norwegian producer Kåre Chr. Vestrheim and topped the Norwegian charts for two weeks, and it was in the charts for three weeks.
