The Hiiu staadion is a football stadium with an athletics facility in the Estonian capital Tallinn . It is mainly used for football matches and is the home of FC Nõmme Kalju and its reserve team.

Geographical location

The facility is located in Hiiu , a district in Tallinn's Nõmme district . It can be reached from the city center via national road 4 or European road 67 in a south-westerly direction.

history

The stadium was built in 1923 and renovated in 2002 for the equivalent of 500,000 euros. In 2006 the course got a new artificial turf . The home game against Flora Tallinn attracted a record 2,730 spectators.
