Hildegard Schorn

Hildegard Schorn (born January 10, 1947 in Vienna ) is a former Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and farmer. From 1987 to 1994 she was a member of the Austrian National Council .

After compulsory schooling, Schorn attended an agricultural college and passed the master craftsman's examination in rural housekeeping. Subsequently she worked as a farmer.

From 1984 Schorn became involved in politics as a district farmer in the Schwechat district and in 1986 she was elected to the district party leadership of the ÖVP Schwechat. In 1985 she was appointed councilor of the Schwechat District Chamber of Farmers, and in 1990 chairwoman of the Schwechat District Farmers Council. In 1990 she also took over the office of area farmer. Between April 6, 1987 and November 6, 1994, Schorn represented the ÖVP in the National Council.
