Alois Roppert

Alois Roppert (born May 25, 1934 in Sollenau ) is a former Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and ÖBB official at rest. Roppert was a member of the Austrian National Council from 1979 to 1994 .

biography

After completing compulsory school, Roppert attended the federal teacher training institute in Wiener Neustadt and passed his Matura there in 1953. In 1953 he worked as a teacher at the secondary school in Leobersdorf and from 1953 to 1988 he was a civil servant at the Austrian Federal Railways. In addition, Roppert attended the social academy between 1967 and 1968. Roppert last held the professional title of government councilor.

Roppert was a member of the Chamber of Commerce from 1974 to 1976 and then from 1976 to 1988 the function of Vice President and Group Leader of the Socialist Trade Unionists of the Chamber for Workers and Salaried Employees for Carinthia. Roppert was also the education officer of ÖGB Carinthia, President of the Working Group for Sport and Physical Culture in Austria (ASKÖ) Aviation Association Austria and Vice President of the Austrian Aero Club Vienna. In addition, Roppert represented the SPÖ in the National Council from June 5, 1979 to November 6, 1994.
