Hilko Ristau (born April 24, 1974 in Bremerhaven ) is a former German soccer player .

From January 2004 to summer 2007 Ristau played at Rot-Weiss Essen , but was only used sporadically in the first team.

Before joining Rot-Weiss Essen, Ristau was active at FC Bremerhaven , VfL Bochum and SG Wattenscheid 09 . In his career he has played 13 first division games (no goal) and 132 second division games, in which he scored eleven goals. He also played for 1. FC Saarbrücken and Bonner SC . In summer 2007 he returned to Bonner SC, where he ended his career in 2009.

Hilko Ristau lives in Cologne and has completed a distance learning course in sports management.
