The Hill Aerospace Museum is located near the city of Ogden , Utah , United States , near Hill Air Force Base .

The museum was founded in 1981. It has been at its current location since 1991. The planes, weapons, vehicles and equipment represent different periods of aviation, such as the beginning of aviation, the Second World War , the Korean War or the age of the jets. In addition to the more than 90 aircraft on display in this museum, there are also monuments, a chapel , a library and an educational facility on the museum grounds .

Monuments

Monuments to various units have been erected around the museum chapel, named after Colonel Nathan H. Mazer.

In addition, there is a memorial to Ployer P. Hill, the namesake of Hill Air Force Base, and the Medal-of-Honor Memorial, which is dedicated to the memory of the bearers of the medal, on the museum grounds . The Utah Aviation Hall of Fame honors important personalities in the aviation sector who have a connection to the US state of Utah, according to the airlift pilot Gail Halvorsen .

Library

The museum's library was established to facilitate the restoration of old aircraft. In addition, scientific work in the field of aviation history is to be supported.
