Himar Ojeda

Himar Ojeda Pérez (born September 26,  1972 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria ) is a Spanish basketball official .

Life

Ojeda, who studied sports science at the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria , was an assistant coach at the Spanish first division club CB Gran Canaria from 1999 to 2007 . In 2007 he took up the post of sporting director at the same club, which he held until 2010. From 2010 to 2012 he led the club as general manager. From July 2012 to May 2013, Ojeda worked at CB Estudiantes as a sports director and then worked for a players' agency and marketing company. He then headed the global talent scouting for a year at the Atlanta Hawks NBA club until January 2016.

In February 2016, Ojeda took up the position of sports director at the German Bundesliga club Alba Berlin . In the 2019/20 season he won the German championship and the cup with Berlin.
