successes

The club won the Copa in 1963, 1992 and 2000 . In 1962, 1973, 1975 and 1971 they were Copa runners-up. They were also runner-up in the league in 1962/63, 1966/67, 1980/81 and 2003/04. The club was one of the founding members of the Spanish Basketball League . In the 2011/12 season, Estudiantes finished 17th in a relegation zone, with which the club, after 55 years in the top division, would have been relegated to the second division for the first time in the club's history. However, since the two promoted Menorca Bàsquet and CB 1939 Canarias could not raise the necessary financial means to enroll in the Spanish league association Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB), the Madrilenians kept their starting place in the first division.

Since 1973 you have participated in the European Cup 23 times. The most outstanding success is the final participation in the Korać Cup in the 1998/99 season.
