The Saski Baskonia SAD is a Spanish basketball club in Vitoria-Gasteiz , Basque Country Autonomous Community . The club is officially called TD Systems Baskonia by sponsorship agreement and currently plays in the ACB league , the country's top division.

history

The club was founded in 1952 under the name Club Deportivo Vasconia. In the 1972/73 season they played for the first time in the top division, since 1982 permanently. The club is currently one of the most successful in Spain.
