Johannes Voigtmann (born September 30, 1992 in Eisenach ) is a German basketball player . He has been under contract with CSKA Moscow in Russia since 2019 .

Career

Voigtmann's athletic career began with handball at ThSV Eisenach in his native Eisenach. He then began his career as a basketball player in the TuS Jena holiday camp . At this event, the trainer from Science City Jena , Tino Stumpf , became aware of Voigtmann who is 2.11 m tall today. As a result, he moved to the sports high school in Jena. He played his first games with the U16 team from Jena. But after just a year Voigtmann played in the U19 Bundesliga NBBL . From the 2010/11 season he sniffed professional air in the Pro A with Science City Jena and soon after became an integral part of the squad.

Skyliners Frankfurt
