The BBL All-Star Game 2007 took place on January 27, 2007 in front of 13,412 spectators in the SAP Arena in Mannheim . The winner was the north with 104: 88. MVP was Julius Jenkins (Alba Berlin).
From this season onwards, an outfitter contract was concluded between Spalding and the BBL. Spalding equipped all major events (Allstar-Day, Top4, ..) and provided the new BBL game ball.

Of the two sporty climbers Cuxhaven BasCats and Giants Nördlingen , only Nördlingen applied for a license. In order to reach 18th place, a wildcard was given before the season . This got TBB Trier , which thus remained in the league despite sporting relegation.
