  • Champion and cup winner of the 1998/99 season was Alba Berlin .
  • The BBL All-Star Game 1998 took place in front of 6,104 spectators in the Kölnarena in Cologne . The winner was the international selection with 132: 126.
  • This season, the Bundesliga was dissolved by the DBB association and then organized by the newly founded Basketball Bundesliga GmbH.
