The 2010/11 Basketball Bundesliga season (officially Beko Basketball Bundesliga ) was the 45th season of the top German division in men's basketball . The regular season began on October 1, 2010 with a home game of the Eisbären Bremerhaven against the Giants Düsseldorf and ended on April 23, 2011 with the 34th and final game day. In the subsequent play-offs , the Brose Baskets from Bamberg finally prevailed, successfully defending their title from the previous year with a 3-2 win in the final against Alba Berlin .
