The Weißenfels town hall is a sports and multi-purpose hall in the Saxony-Anhalt city of Weißenfels . The hall is the venue of the basketball club Mitteldeutscher Basketball Club (MBC), currently in the basketball league , and the floorball club UHC Sparkasse Weißenfels , multiple German men's champions .

The town hall, which was inaugurated in June 2002, has the external dimensions of 73 × 51 m and offers a maximum of 3,000 spectators, of which 2,300 can be seated on fixed seats. The building consists of a reinforced concrete - solid construction with a steel roof structure . The interior offers a play area 48 m long and 33 m wide with a height of nine meters. So can u. a. the indoor sports handball , basketball , floorball , badminton or volleyball are organized in accordance with standards under competition conditions. The construction costs of the hall stood at 8.05 million euros . Of this, 2.16 million euros came from the special funding program " Golden Plan Ost "
